Die INTERGEO ist die internationale Leitmesse für Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Landmanagement. 16.383 Fachbesucher aus 90 Ländern informierten sich auf der zurückliegenden Kommunikationsplattform bei 516 Unternehmen aus 30 Ländern über die Innovationen der Branche. Hier stellte Ascending Technologies das erste adaptive Steuerungssystem (Autopilot) für Multikopter mit bis zu 3-fach redundanter Elektronik zum ersten mal der Öffentlichkeit vor. Der Oktokopter der AscTec Professional Line – „AscTec Falcon 8“ – ist damit noch effizienter und sicherer im täglichen Einsatz. Der neue Autopilot ist vom Reißbrett an neu entwickelt worden. 12 Jahre Erfahrung in der Erfindung und Entwicklung von Multirotortechnologie sind durch das Kraillinger Unternehmen in diese kleine Komponente geflossen. Nicht nur der AscTec Falcon 8, sondern auch das erste manntragende Multirotorsystem, der Volocopter VC200, Reuters berichtete, werden in Zukunft von diesem Autopiloten gesteuert. Für den Anwender professioneller, ziviler Drohnen beispielsweise zur Vermessung bedeutet das mehr Sicherheit, mehr Leistung, mehr Funktionalität – und mehr Produktivität mit jeder Sekunde in der Luft.

Using the AscTec Trinity, the AscTec Falcon 8 Octocopter UAV for professional, civil use, will be more efficient and safe in daily operation. The new autopilot was a complete new development based on Ascending Technologies’ 12-years-experience of innovation and progress in the field of multi-rotor systems.
