A book review of The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton
A science fiction post-apocalyptic novel slash mystery novel published in 2024. This is Stuart Turton's third book. It is set in an unknown time on an unnamed Greek island. Living here are 3 scientists and approximately 120 villagers alongside their artificial intelligence system Abi. A fog has covered the entire Earth except for this small Greek island and around half a mile of ocean surrounding it. Inside this fog are glowing insects, which kill everything they touch. There hasn't been a murder recorded on this island in the last 90 years... until now.
