Today is the day of Saint John the Baptist! It’s a very important day for Christians around the world; the celebrations range from special masses in Italy to massive fireworks celebrations in Spain. The date of June 24th was actually chosen by the Catholic Church in the 4th Century in order to replace the pagan celebration of the Summer Solstice! SO, we’ll check out some Birthday Bashes in just a bit -- but now, here’s something for you pagans who are celebrating!
