RMS Rigging - Gamma Knife Machine Project
February 19, 2018: RMS Rigging was contracted to move a 45,000 lb Gamma Knife Machine through a wall at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO. The machine was lifted from the trailer by one of our Liebherr LTM 1220 5.2 (265 ton) machines. Once the load was set outside of the building, RMS Rigging utilized specialized machine moving equipment and tools to safely move the component through the wall and to the set location. In the video you will see RMS Rigging utilize the following tools & equipment in order to get the job completed efficiently & safely:
1. Hyster Forklift (15.5k Capacities)
2. Fixed Roller Dollies (48k Capacity)
3. PowerAttack Tool (50k Capacity)
4. Jung Mechanical Toe Jacks (15k Capacity)
