Before and after. Condenser fan motors can run constantly during the Texas heat. This results in greater wear and tear on equipment. Motor bearings wear out and can create noisy operation.
A worn out motor may also pull higher amperage that results in a higher utility bill. The motor and capacitor should be changed to increase system performance and lower utility costs.
