Today, heaven gains another star. Dominguinhos brought emotion, love, and deep feeling to several generations.
He expressed his love wherever he went. Whether at Unidos de São Carlos or Cova da Onça, he moved thousands with his cry of: "Look, the... is arriving!".
In the corners of the Sapucaí, it was impossible not to vibrate - and lose oneself in emotion - with his voice. A voice that so often pleaded for "Freedom, Freedom!" and implored the saint: "Oh! Holy Virgin, watch over us." His devotion was admirable. And today, we truly believe that "The cure for body and soul is in samba," and that's why we will continue from here, carrying his cry and his faith for the whole world to know: "Oh, God the Father, illuminate the new day!"
From sector one to sector thirteen, a huge thank you, Domingos da Costa Ferreira, our eternal "Dominguinhos do Estácio".
