This APC Back-UPS 500 is beeping non stop, the unit is a few years old and has been in constant use 24/7. The internal lead acid battery needs to be replaced, it's inexpensive and relatively easy to do as well. I'll show you which parts need to removed and the tools you will need, before starting turn the unit off, disconnect the rear yellow battery connector and allow the unit to sit for several minutes, once the unit has been opened keep away from the circuit board area as the capacitors may still be charged, thanks for watching!
