It was just announced that Star Wars The Acolyte is being canceled, which is a very odd move, since Disney COULD have very quietly done this behind the scenes and avoided negative attention from the fans. But it seems Disney is finally throwing in the towel on this sort of Star Wars with a public admission of failure.
