Updates on Cherry Tree Lane Attack / Sh00ting Incident
It has been 9 days since the brutal attack on the residents of Cherry tree lane. The massacre which has been compared to an act of Terrorism brought not only public outrage but the wrath of the Jamaica constabulary force and Jamaica’s Prime Minister the Most Honourable Andrew Holness. But what has been done since that initial outcry. Has this attack become a NINE DAY WONDER and has been forgotten swept under the Proverbial rug? Well lets look at some of what has taken place.
1. Five individuals were apprehended by the JCF. One in fact turned himself in upon hearing that he was a person of interest in the killing. An illegal weapon was also retrieved in the JCF’s dragnet of the area.
2. Eight persons have been placed in custody in connection with the attack.
3. The JCFS chaplaincy department have been dispatched to provide Grief counselling
4. Major 25 million dollar Incentive to garner Information leading to the arrest and capture of the criminals who committed the heinous act on the residents of Cherry tree Lane
5. Suspect shot and killed during apprehension
6. Masked man who threaten the lives of the P.M. , his wife and the residents of Clarendon captured and remains in custody.
