Eliminating Highly Hazardous Pesticides – protecting people and the planet
Highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs) cause immense harm to humans, animals, and the environment. Working in partnership, Pesticide Action Network (PAN)-UK, CABI and the University of Edinburgh will expand their work with pesticide regulators and farming communities, empowering them to use evidence to eliminate harmful pesticides and replace them with safer alternatives.
Working globally, we will eliminate the use of HHPs, save more than 100,000 lives every year, prevent millions of cases of non-fatal poisoning, and improve the long-term health of people, animals, and the planet.
