A Marconi Journey - Parks on the Air in Marconi's Footsteps
In 2022 and 2023 I set out to visit the three North American sites where Marconi had milestones in radio.
In December 1901 Marconi received the first intercontinental signal on Signal Hill in Saint John's, Newfoundland, Canada
In December 1902 the first two way intercontinental signals were exchanged from the Marconi site at Table Rock, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia Canada on Cape Breton Island.
One month later, in January 1903 the US got into the game with a contact between Cape Cod, Massachusetts and England. This formal contact included a message between the American president and the British king.

P.S. - I know there is a lot of wind noise. All of Marconi's stations were right at the edge of the ocean, and it gets windy there. Can't be helped.
