This is Misha’s journey – a 2-year-old from Budapest who traveled to Iowa for the intensive MTF program in the hope of gaining independence. Initially, Misha could only take steps with 100% support. After meeting Maria in a virtual session, the parents decided to visit in person. Despite recommendations for surgery, Botox, and ankle-foot orthotics, Ferrer Pediatrics focused on addressing the root issue using a dynamic flex cast to align Misha’s feet.
