Our Reforestation Dream In Tropically, Exotic Bocas del Toro, Panama Is Reborn.
Our fabulously fecund botanical neotropical rain forest reforestation preserve, exotic TropicRiverWoods, S.A., has gone from nearly forgotten to amazingly reborn once more, and Brad and I are celebrating immortality that we know is linked to this sun-blessed land of hills, biological diversity, mountain-fed streams and the incredibly awe of Earth's true grandeur!
Through "Our Southern Front Porch's" ever-expanding membership, the hopefulness for greater and greater numbers of Patreon membership, our new reinvogourated selves living on a lovely slice of heaven called Central Alabama and its remaking of us, we can see far beyond the present and from where we view the future, it is bright indeed!
It is all about never losing the "little boy" inside the man. It is all about rising above politics, television's slanted news, and the quicksand of mediocre Network sit-coms and murder-solving shows. Turn off the pre-programmed entertainment, made to "just watch" and begin thinking. Your brain will love you for that, I am sure! You will be surprised where those thoughts might take you, too!
Life is so much more than what advertisers sell us, and we are so much more than sheep-like creatures who only follow others' dictates yet never look beyond what we are told. We are not always really living life, when it's only an existence honed to be in unison with the thoughts and goals of our "handlers." In short, "yes," we are being very effectively used, my friends.
We, humans are so often stifled, treading through the slough of mass packaged "entertainment," and are duly sanitised, only to forever march (towards ultimate oblivion) in worldwide goose-stepping queue of lack of thought and imagination! We are more easily held captive by society that way. We are slaves who don't feel like slaves; how convenient for our enslavers, isn't it? Just provide enough Social Media, smartphones, and other entertainment equipment, and most of us are really "good to go!"
Have you noticed lately, that almost everything is: "super" something, generally "awesome" and that and so many relatively mediocre things are very, very cool. The reality is that most of those things that are labelled as such are really not anywhere close to those superlatives, describing them! I have to criticise this use of descriptive language because we are becoming a lot of things but one thing that are not becoming is "original." Cannot we do better with the English language (the language blessed with more words of precise description than those in any other language.) Just think about that?
Our minds are what are really reborn here, in a very staid 2021. We two dare to be great. If we dare to audaciously think that in true...then we can approach the precipice of greatness. It is our quest to see Tropic River Woods tropical rain forest preserve in Bocas del Toro Province, Panama grow always and thrive to greatness. A part of us will remain there in spirit always.
