Would you drive around the Arc De Triomphe? Have you already? What was it like?
Known as the CRAZIEST and most fanous roundabout in Europe, the Place de l'Etoile roundabout features the Arc De Triomphe in the center This huge granite structure stands at the center of 12 roads, one of them the Champs d'Elysee.
Apparently the French have a law called “priorité à droit” (priority to the right) which governs entry to the rond point (circle). So, when two cars are competing for space, the car to the right has the right of way. If you are in the roundabout already, you must give way to the car trying to enter. The outcome is a dense jostle for space and organized chaos.
IMO, driving anywhere in Paris is a nightmare - took us 2.5 hours just to drive out of the city, lol.
