Ice Nine Kills - Assault & Batteries drum cover
I discovered these guys only a few weeks ago and i legitimately don't know HOW I've missed them this long. Horror movie metal??!! Are you kidding?!?!
Anyways, they've quickly become my current favorite band as I take my time to completely nerd out over the fine little details & earter eggs in all their songs.
This was the first song I heard from them and I remember literally laughing because of how blown away I was upon my first listen - the cheery melody in parts, child toy noises, kids' chants, the topic itself being Childs Play which I love... everything about it screams unique and fun.
I ached to learn this because it sounds like they had an absolute ball writing it and the music video is something else to behold entirely!
Anyways, I love these guys and there'll be more of this band coming to my channel in the near future as I discover and learn their stuff. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed learning and playing along to a song in my entire drumming life.
