We randomized Pokemon our starters but we won't be able to choose them! Instead, our opponent will blindly choose our starter for us, BUT whatever Pokemon they choose for us, if it's shiny, we'll be able to double one of their stats OR give it any ability we want. After six rounds of starters, we'll go build the best teams we can, and have a best of three set of Pokemon battles.
