Fear spread as some media reported that Sharia Law would be imposed on the U.S. Almost out of Hollywood central casting, an outspoken provocateur, Anjem Choudary, dressed in Middle Eastern garb - materialized via satellite from England vowing, on Hannity's FOX news show, that he would hold a pro-Sharia rally at the White House. Choudary never appeared. The demo featured counter-demonstrators, Christian Zionists, anti-Islam proponents, Tea Party activists, and 9/11 opportunists. Who directed their hate at some poor guy who regularly prays in Arabic at the White House for plumbing for a yet-to-be-built Mosque somewhere.
