I wanted to make a pinball game in Unreal.

But I'm a programmer, not an asset designer so I turned towards Visual Pinball X's amazing tables and found one which suited my geek's taste : William's Terminator 2 pinball recreated by talented nFozzy (https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?ap....

Getting the assets into UE wasn't too difficult using VPs integrated export features and Blender to change rotation and scale.

Using Blueprints, I then created every module a pinball should have : flippers, targets, bumpers, slingshots, kickers ... and put that all together to make the game playable.

Meletou1 flipper kit tutorials (   • Création d'un flipper 4.26 / 4.27 /UE...  )
were very helpful for this part.

All Unreal 5s features are activated : Nanite, Lumen, Raytracing ... all illuminated by Ultra Dynamic Sky (https://www.unrealengine.com/marketpl...)

Running on my Intel Core I5 12400, RTX 3060 and 32Gb RAM at an average of 40 FPS.

Hope you enjoy it :)

Cheers,

Greg
