In prior years, the micro UAV project has consisted of a single team participation in the SAE Micro-UAV design competition. Several years ago, UCF began an internal competition to allow the teams to challenge each other. This project is conceived of as a micro-level design competition (now independent of the SAE competition) with specifications that are still being
developed.
