[Auto Shanghai 2023] Hyundai Mobis' Growth Strategy in China
Axel Joachim Maschka, Executive Vice President at MOBIS, spoke at Auto Shanghai 2023 about our achievements and growth strategy moving forward.
The root of our continued growth is our focus on electric vehicles. Because China is the #1 EV exporter in the world, our growth strategy in China is especially poignant.
We supply technologies in 5 key areas in China, including steering, braking, lighting, safety airbag and ACUs, and In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI). And by localizing, connecting Chinese OEMs to the world, and listening to the demands of the Chinese market, we plan on amplifying our growth even further.
The electric Complete Chassis Platform Module (eCCPM) is one outstanding example of our vision for future growth. As a scalable mobility platform that contains an electric steering system, brake system, and drive system, the eCCPM allows for more flexibility, versatility, and agility.
As we continue developing electric vehicle technology, we expect to continue growing with China with a growth forecast of 18%.
