Black Myth: Wukong, Boss Fight, Yellowbrow(final encounter), New Thunderclap Temple, The New West
This fight is very difficult and challenging. Before entering the battle area, make sure you have enough stats leveled up. This boss has various deadly thunder attacks that deal high damage to you. The most difficult part of the fight is that he always uses “Rock Solid” to tank your attacks, making it hard to damage him. At the beginning of the fight, you can cascade your melee and spell attacks to deal high damage to him and force the battle into phase 2. This is very important for success in the remaining battle!
One thing to be aware of: at the very beginning of the fight, you can only attack him with a “light attack”; you can’t use a heavy attack to finish the combo. Otherwise, your initial attack cascade strategy can’t be implemented. This will put you in a very weak situation to win the match. Also, the “Immobilizer Spell” is not effective against him. If you use it, he will transform to “Rock Solid” state and the immobilizer will vanish. The only chance to hit him is when he changes his body from Rock Solid to normal form. In my case, I use “Red Ties” and a light attack combo to hit him before he transforms back to Rock Solid. As the attack window for damaging him is very small, you need to use spells at the right moment to hurt him. Since his attacks deal high damage, you need to dodge them at the right moment; if you fail, you will die.
On the other hand, one thing I must point out is that the fight is not fair. During the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 and phase 2 to phase 3, this boss will perform an animation like a movie. You can’t do anything but are forced to watch him hit you badly. This is OK until I realize that my health is largely damaged after this in-game animation. This is not fair; I think the game should at least give me a “quick button action challenge” for avoiding the attack! Finally, if you can manage your attacks, spells, and items at the right moment, and avoid making any big mistakes, you may win the battle in this way, of course, I am lucky.
