Rode Lavalier Go Microphone with iPhone/ Android. TRS vs TRRS Connection | SC4 Adapter
I picked up a new Microphone for this channel, the Rode Lavalier Go! I thought I could just plug into a Lightning port to 3.5 mm adapter and start using the microphone, but I needed the RODE SC4 adapter to be able to use with my smartphone.
iPhone and Smartphones use a TRRS connection for microphones, the Rode Lavalier GO only comes with TRS connection. Thought I’d share for others who accidentally made this mistake as well, thanks for your time.
