Turning a 9 3/4" maple bowl for drying.
Folks, two points, first I had camera at wrong angle and second I had to make a silent video due to multiple lathes running, discussions and background noise.
This is a maple 9 3/4" bowl which will be coated with a 1/3 water and 2/3 ordinary wood glue to prevent the bowl from drying to fast and cracking. Also, due to dry winter conditions in the shop and the heating system drying the air quicker in winter we had a cracking problem with exposed bowls so starting putting bowls in plastic bags with shaving to reduce this problem which seems to be working well.
