Hi all, I've gotten into game development last year and haven't really posted much it. I've worked on a few games so far, those being Quackventure by Hot Cocoa Studios, Xorbit and Hookshot Robot, both by me, JJ (Hot Noggin Studios), and ZAFT.
This video showcases a showcases a project I've been working on for the past week or so; streaming systems in Godot! Godot does not currently have any streaming systems implemented in-engine, so I decided to tackle that problem myself. (Side note: The video is recorded at 30FPS)
This project is programmed entirely in GDScript. I plan to release it as an addon for anyone to use after it's development is complete. Currently, the addon has Mesh streaming, Scene streaming and Texture streaming. Many workarounds were needed to make this come to life, and I am very proud to be able to showcase it's capability.
