I Wanna Be Your Man- The Beatles (Guitar Cover)

I Wanna Be Your Man was recorded on September 11th, 1963 for the UK album With The Beatles. Sung by Ringo, it had the normal lineup of Paul on bass, John on rhythm guitar, George on lead guitar and Ringo on drums
John's Rickenbacker 325 rhythm guitar was played into his Vox AC-30 amp, most likely on the middle or neck position. He turned on the amp's tremolo circuit, inspired by Bo Diddley's warm choppy rhythm sounds
George played his Gretsch Country Gentleman into his Vox AC-30, with no tremolo. He used the bridge pickup for most of the song, including the solo. But for the choruses he switched to the middle position
Michael's 325 is a 1982 320B model that he modded to be closer to John's 1958 325 specs. The middle pickup is completely disengaged from the circuit, as per rumours that John did this to his. I am playing on the middle position, which is the bridge and neck pickups together. I turned down the tone knobs a little bit to get the warmer tone
I'm also using Michael's Gretsch Country Gent, which is a 2016 reissue model. Both of these guitars are running into my 2010's Vox AC-30C2X- top boost channel
