CORRECTION: When talking about TPUs, I compare them to CPUs because I misunderstood the article I was reading. I looked further into AI accelerators and now understand why TPUs are comparable to GPUs. This doesn't change the fact that needing 4 of something comparable to a GPU to run Doom is silly, but I just want to clarify that a bit better in case any further questions arise from that point.
