Testing Hovermap-Spot for Remote and Autonomous Routine Mapping
Hovermap’s autonomous capabilities, like self-planning missions and autonomous exploration, are being tested on a brand new platform at the South32’s Cannington mine! Hovermap-Spot will have the LiDAR-based perception and path planning of a drone-mounted Hovermap and will play a significant part in the autonomous mine, designed to keep personnel safe.
