Fruit Fly Feeding: You're probably doing it wrong.
This should help save you a ton of time since petroleum jelly costs like $1 or $2 - and when you're tapping the flies into the enclosures, if they touch the jelly they'll actually get stuck - so what I do is tap them into the enclosure, gravity handles the rest, and you just saved yourselves a hassle.
