How to unpublish an app from Google Developer Console - August 2017
Google changed up how to do this 3 times so far. Here's the most recent method, plain and simple.
1. Select the app in the Play Console
2 Click on Store Presence in the left side menu, if it's missing click the hamburger icon in the top left to open the menu
3. Click on Pricing & Distribution in the left-side menu
4. Click Unpublish
5. Save to unpublish the app
