Donut Dimensions - STEAM Art Project - Oil Pastel and Paint 3D Media Arts Lesson
This is a lesson designed to help students transition from traditional to digital art skills and tools.
Using observation and class discussion students create realistic drawings of donuts on paper using oil pastel. They'll study the art of Wayne Thiebaud and create their artwork using similar perspectives and colors.
Then students use Paint 3D to render a drawing of a three dimensional donut with similar details and characteristics to their oil pastel drawing.
