In this episode I chat to Dr Stephane Vermeulin about connecting with teachers from all over the world.
Before developing ICA (International Canadian Academy), International Comprehensive (IC) and TeacherWit in Vancouver with Andre Nudelman who is entrepreneur in residence Stanford University, Stéphane had a rich experience in the field of education. He has collaborated with teachers and students from Kindergarten to University for over twenty years.
This experience covers four continents, including Africa, where he conducted research for which he obtained a PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Paris-Nanterre in 2006. He then lectured at two universities in France until he moved to China where he started a new career as a teacher in an IB school. Later, he became an “Activator of thinking and digital learning coach” at the International School of Luxembourg. Stéphane participated in the creation of the UNODC Education for Justice programme in Vienna. He also made a few presentations at Learning 2 Europe conferences, as well as in other venues.
