ARE SMART JUMPER CABLES INTERCHANGABLE??? (WATCH)
Are smart jumper cables for portable jump starters interchangeable? We test a few less popular portable jump starters without a Boost button to see if their smart jumper cables will work safely with other brands of portable jump starters. We are Not telling you to use smart jumper cables that were not designed to your specific portable jump starter brand, but we are showing you that in a pinch you could in fact use other brands of smart cables in your portable jump starter. We came to the conclusion that you must use smart cables with a voltage reader on the module for the smart cables to work with other brands of jump starters. We noticed that if your smart cables do not have a voltage readout on the module those cables will not work with other portable jump starter brands, also make sure your portable jump starter does Not have a Boost button in order for this to work. In order to do this test properly, you will see that we had to simulate a dead battery since the battery in the V8 was good, you will see very little sparkage from time to time when we hook up the smart cables to the battery connections.
For Example, we use the Foxpeed G29 smart cables on the Imazing IM27 and Avapow 6000A jump starters to see if we could jump start our V8 Cadillac, you will be shocked what happens.
