On June 26th, 2020, a breathtaking event was captured on video on the bypass of Opole (national road 46) - a supercell thunderstorm. This incredible cloud resembled a scene straight out of the movie "Independence Day", with only a flying spaceship missing. It was a real treat for all storm hunters who were after such experiences.
Similar storms swept across Poland on that day, causing a lot of damage, and firefighters had their hands full, especially due to numerous floods and waterlogging
