Why Be a Loyalist? The Aftermath
Now that we've discussed why someone might chose to be a loyalist during the American Revolution, public historian and reenactor, Adam Hodges-LeClaire, shares what happened to many of these individuals during and after the war. Understanding these different perspectives from participants in the American Revolution can help us set aside the idealist image we have of the founding of this nation and be more engaged citizens in the present day.
