THE BOYS Season 2 Review Part 1 (In Depth): The Enrichment Critic
The Boys Season 2 premiered on September 4, 2020 on Amazon Prime Video. Overall reception seems positive, having a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 8.7 on IMDB. But it is as good as they say? (No, not really)
While I did overall liked the season, there are severe writing issues with the show when you really analyze it closely. There are inconsistent plot elements as well as stupidity that can be found throughout the season. And that is the purpose of this review. I will go through the whole season, episode by episode, and discuss and argue the bad elements in the show. Hopefully, some of the arguments brought up will show why The Boys Season 2 is not as good as everyone says.
This review is a part 1, covering episodes 1-4 of The Boys Season 2. Part 2 will come out sometime later this year.
