Extreme forecasts for almost all of Germany are currently out of the weather model portfolio – THANK GOD! However, very high precipitation totals are still being simulated in the southeast, ranging from "just about okay" to "catastrophic." We'll just have to wait and see how the details develop.
Meanwhile, summer is over. Nothing more is coming. It's autumn, and it's here to stay. Winter is coming to the high mountains, especially in the Eastern Alps.
