This is a recreation of the SpaceX Crew Dragon Inflight Abort Test which took place on January 19 2020. Dragon capsule C205 was launched from LC-39A aboard Falcon 9 B1046.4, now with grid fins and landing legs removed. At Max-Q, Falcon 9’s engines were intentionally commanded to shut down and Dragon autonomously pulled itself away with its 8 SuperDraco engines. After reaching apogee, Dragon separated from the trunk and descended under parachutes to a safe splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean. The test cleared Crew Dragon for crewed launches and paved the way for the Demo-2 mission.
The gift mentioned at the end was originally a DragonFly bp, but it has since been severely outdated and i'll have to remake it later.
