Feeling ON TOP OF THE WORLD! New York is such a buzz! The hubbub in the streets and the energy of the city are compelling and I’ve aimed to film that.
Let me take you on a fly by of Lower Manhattan area in this one of a kind place.
Highlights shown:
💠 The view from the One World Observatory is phenomenal! Can you imagine being on the 100th floor?
💠 The building is over 100 stories high and has breathtaking 360 degree views across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Jersey City.
💠 Memorial Park is a poignant place to reflect on the history of what happened here but also to admire the progress since. Oculus is an amazing architectural space next to WTC memorial park.
💠 A fast rib boat trip on the Hudson River to see it all from a different perspective.
💠 57 storey skyscraper at 56 Leonard Street - known as the Jenga Tower - has to be the most unusual apartment building and features a street side domed sculpture by Anish Kapoor which reportedly cost $6m!
Property connections, what do you think of selling a penthouse apartment in the tower 'for a snip' at $50m?!
Features & equipment:
I used a range of frame speeds - 24fps - slo mo and timelapse all in 4K to give me flexibility and add interest to the video edit.
Filming was shot entirely on the iPhone 14 Pro Max mounted on a Small Rig cage stabiliser and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
