Onassis Foundation offers the Greek National Health System 13.5 million protective masks

Μετά από συντονισμένη προσπάθεια, το Ίδρυμα Ωνάση, σε συνεργασία με το Γραφείο του Πρωθυπουργού και το Υπουργείο Υγείας, εξασφάλισε 13,5 εκατομμύρια προστατευτικές μάσκες για το Εθνικό Σύστημα Υγείας. Ένα ελάχιστο «ευχαριστώ» προς το ιατρικό και νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό της χώρας για το σπουδαίο έργο που επιτελεί. Στεκόμαστε πάντοτε δίπλα στην κοινωνία, στηρίζοντας τους καθημερινούς ήρωες που μας δείχνουν τον δρόμο, για να κάνουμε όλοι μαζί ένα βήμα πιο πέρα, με αίσθημα ατομικής και κοινωνικής ευθύνης. Ενωμένοι, έστω και από απόσταση, θα τα καταφέρουμε. Μένουμε σπίτι, αλλά δεν μένουμε αμέτοχοι.

Through concerted efforts, the Onassis Foundation – in cooperation with the Greek Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health – has sourced and secured 13.5 million protective masks for the National Health System. It's the very least we could do to thank the country’s medical and nursing professionals for their incredible work. We stand – always – by society’s side, supporting everyday heroes who show us the way, so that we can take that next step forward together, with a clear sense of our responsibilities as both individuals and as a community. We’re staying home, but not out of this. United, even when apart, we can win this fight.
