Experiment | Passive LPF System Response
This is a brief experiment on obtaining the system response of a first order analogue passive low pass filter also known as a RC filter. This experiment goes through the circuit construction and the procedure to obtain the system response using an oscilloscope. This is a first order filter, thus the resulting system response will be equivalent to a standard first order system. This video will also show how to analyze the response and capture system characteristics such as the time constant using the oscilloscope. Experiment guideline is given in the link below.
