Activities with Shire horses, catering and B&B.mpg
Jonathan and Fiona Waterer run 'Simply Shires' on their farm in North Devon. They farm there using heavy horses - to undertake all of the normal agricultural activity. They also run wagon rides around the local area, driving courses and heavy horse 'experience days'. Their horses and carridges can be booked for weddings and other events and Fiona will also provide full catering for weddings and events and the farm can also provide the venue for smaller weddings, parties and celibrations. But if all you want is a base whilst in North Devon, excellent B&B is provided at Higher Biddacott farm, any one staying there is assured of a warm welcome and great traditional farm experience. We are currently completing the filming for a DVD about all aspects of their life with these wonderfully gentle but powerful horses.
