Flooding in Alexandria
Our city has a flooding problem, which continues to impact the lives and livelihoods of people throughout Alexandria.
If elected to Council, I’ll work with the new citizen commission to speed up repairs to our storm sewer system and identify and fix new problem spots as they arise. I’ll also fight to bring federal and state dollars, as well as fees from developers, to bear on this problem so that we can lower costs to taxpayers and finally solve this challenge.
