Picking up the Pieces: Young People on Trauma
In 2023 the UK Trauma Council, with the support of Peer Power, brought together a group of young people with lived experience of trauma, to be the UKTC’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB).
When the members of the YAB first saw the UK Trauma Council’s website and resources, they were keen to tell their own stories about what trauma and recovery mean to them.
This animation is based on the evidence of their own experience.
