Ayanda, a young lesbian girl, battles with coming out to her mother, Monica, as she’s quite traditional and seems to have her daughter’s life planned out for her, which involves her getting married to a man and having children. Ayanga’s Gogo (grandmother) helps council Ayanda through her situation and guides her with how to come out to her mother.

Carol, a young sex worker is living in housing owned by landlord Karabo. When Karabo finds out about Carol’s line of work, she evicts her. This story is around their relationship and how they come to reconcile with each over an accident that occurs to Carol, where Karabo sees their common goals and problems.

Phumlani is a teacher at a local school and decides to be true to himself and transitions into a transgender woman named Kagiso. This story is around the issues she faces at school, with both the parents and the school principal, and the consequences of this decision to her career.

Pastor John doesn’t accept his gay son, Thaps, and kicked him out of the house years ago when his wife was still alive. Now that she has passed on, Thaps returns back home to reunite with his family, and introduce his partner (Kealeboga) to them. He hopes to reconcile with his father and try not to lose out on any more time together as a family, as if anything their mother's death has taught them, is that time is precious.
