The Royal Court in Knights of Honor II: Sovereign is one of the most important tools. The knights you recruit determine your capabilities as a ruler and even your playstyle.
Marshals lead your armies into battle to seize neighboring lands or defend your own.
Diplomats can turn even your most ardent enemies into friends. Use diplomats to forge military alliances and dynastic marriages; their job is to ensure that allies come to your aid in difficult times. Merchants not only generate income for you by trading with other countries, but they can also import the goods you need and travel in search of profitable deals.
Clerics play a vital role in areas such as education, culture, and public happiness.
Spies are indispensable if you prefer a more subtle approach to world conquest. They offer a wealth of opportunities: bribing enemy knights, inciting rebellions, starting wars between the countries you want to conquer—there's no shortage of options to achieve your goal!
