Tips For Weapon Upgrade In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom
It is super easy to upgrade and repair weapons in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
The first thing you need to do is find an enemy called a Rock Octorock which can be found near the base of Death Mountain. Towards the northern area of the map there are a lot of them. I share a ton of rock octorock locations in this video with a map.
All you need to do is run up to a rock octorock and drop the weapon, shield or bow that you want to repair. Run away and the rock octorock will suck up the weapon, upgrade it then launch it back at you. Watch out because it will deal damage if you get hit.
Pick up your weapon and see what upgrade you got!
Couple of notes:
- A rock octorock can only repair one item per blood moon
- I suggest you kill the rock octorock so you don't forget
- You can save your game before attempting and if you get a 'bad' upgrade then just reload
