This Is the End | Original 8-Bit Song | Famitracker
An original chiptune composed in Famitracker.
Initially started somewhere at the beginning of 2017, meant to be "keygen"-ish type of chiptune, but it didn't sound the way I wanted it to sound, which eventually made me abandon this song.
However, I always felt like it had some potential, because it was making me think of a metal-ish track that could have lyrics. I've been often considering finishing it, so here it is, after these few years I finally decided to get back to it.
At first I didn't really have any ideas, nor themes to aim for, so I've been composing it quite randomly. At some point though, it started to make me imagine the approaching end of something (the world, an event, a journey, etc.) and everyone accepting that, spending the last moments together, preparing to say goodbye. ...Or something along these lines.
