The Very Hard difficulty mode is actually pretty killer and I love it. I had a terrible loss here on my first attempt as I didn't exactly know what the boss was going to do. I get serious revenge in my second brawl.
The main tactic here is to avoid the AoE's. There's a really nasty ice storm move you do not want to get hit by. If the damage doesn't kill a character, the frozen status will mess up your run instead. Run away, Stun, delay, or finish the current HP bar of Fenrir to zero before he unleashes his icy righteous fury.
Usually I talk a lot more on stream but this was a moment I needed to do some serious focus to win.
