Hypatia Hint Demo
This video describes the new hint system in Hypatia Worksheet. Hypatia is a math e-learning technology that can be embedded in any learning platform through an API. With Hypatia, students solve problems step by step using math naturally. Our math engine understands the math they have written and can identify errors along the way. In addition to grading a final answer, Hypatia can assess a student’s performance throughout a “show your work” question. We cover math concepts up to and including university level calculus and algebra.
Hypatia provides customized help every time a student needs it. Hypatia learns hints as students are solving problems and improves its ability to provide most relevant hints for every particular student.
Instead of offering the same hint to every student, using our technology, Hypatia offers hints that are tailored towards the particular student.
If a student makes an error, Hypatia will backtrack the student's thinking in a most optimal way to the most optimal point from which student can continue their work.
