Cisco Firepower Threat Defense: Integration with Tenable.SC using Host Input API
In this video we will integrate Tenable Security Center with Firepower Management Center to pull active vulnerabilities and ingest them using Firepower Management Centers Host Input API . This provides the ability to pull active vulnerability intelligence from Tenable's Security Center and assign them to the respective host at risk within Firepower.
Running the following Versions:
Firepower 6.6.1
Tenable.SC 5.17
Kali Linux running the following:
-- Python 2.7
-- Perl 5
Note: you can create a cron job to rerun this as required. You could also add the perl path statement and run the query against Tenable in a script to launch.
